Job summary

Aramark UK at Frimley CTC in Camberley is seeking a General Service Assistant to help serve breakfast, lunch and/or dinner, and keep dining areas tidy. You’ll welcome customers and support front-of-house operations in a team-focused environment.

Join a committed team with full training, where age 18+ and UK work eligibility are required. Shifts vary (earlies/lates); 35 hours per week on a permanent contract with generous benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+.
• Eligibility to work in the UK and have lived in the UK for at least 3 years (security clearance required).
• Food hygiene certificate - Level 2 desirable. Relevant training will be provided.
• Basic numeracy skills.
• Own or reliable transport due to remote location and limited public transport.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts.

Responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages to customers.
• Clean back of house areas, crockery, and cutlery.
• Clean and tidy counter, light equipment/machines, preparation, and public areas.
• Perform basic cold food preparation and made to order services.
• Restock goods and ensure appropriate displays of merchandise.
• Report feedback, complaints, suggestions, stock needs, breakages, faults, or hazards identified during the work.
• Perform daily paperwork.
• Follow food hygiene and safety procedures.

Pay rate: £12.71 per hour
Contract type: Permanent, full-time, 35 hours per week, 5 days out of 7
Shift times: Varies between Earlies and Lates

What you'll do:

As a General Service Assistant,you’llbe front and centre in delivering a welcoming experience to our customers. Your day-to-day will include:

• Serve food and beverages to customers
• Clean back of house areas,crockery,and cutlery
• Clean and tidy counter, light equipment/machines,preparation,and public areas
• Perform basic cold food preparation and made to order services
