Job summary

Vertu Geely Durham is seeking a General Sales Manager to lead a team of Business Managers, Sales Executives and support colleagues, driving exceptional customer service and sales results.

You will manage all sales campaigns, promotions and the entire process for new and used vehicles, including finance options, while ensuring ethical standards and customer satisfaction. DBS checks and references are part of pre-employment checks.

This collaboration is a landmark moment, with a brand new Vertu Geely dealership opening soon in Durham.

At our Geely Durham dealership, we are currently recruiting for a General Sales Manager to join us! We are offering a £40,000basic salary with anOTE of£60,000plus company car and company benefits.

As a General Sales Manager you will be leading and managing a controlled sales process through a team including BusinessManagers, Sales Executives and support colleagues through regular coaching, robust management and constant customer interaction with first and second facing activity at its heart. You will serve and support your team to sell new and used vehicles, with a range of add-on productsincluding financewhilst ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction at all times. You will also manage all sales campaigns and promotions that maximise sales ensuring we uphold the highest ethical standards

We are looking for a very talented, experienced Sales Manager with a proven track record of sales and performance within the motor industry. You will be able to clearly demonstrate your ability to generate impressive results by increasing sales performance, profitability and operating efficiency. You must have strong leadership and people management skills as your primary focus is to lead your team to deliver their business objectives. You will be able to demonstrate that you share our company values and possess strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
