Job summary

Marshall Honda Blackburn, part of Marshall Motor Group, is seeking an experienced General Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive performance across new and used vehicle sales. About The Role

General Sales Manager

At Marshall Honda Blackburn, we’re offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales Manager to drive success by leading our sales team in delivering outstanding customer experiences and achieving ambitious sales targets.

In this role:

• You’ll lead and drive performance of the Sales team, overseeing both new and used vehicle sales.
• You’ll achieve weekly sales targets for vehicles, finance, and insurance products, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction.
• You’ll be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and driving business growth in alignment with the store’s goals.
• You’ll lead by example – working closely with customers, managing escalations, and supporting team development through coaching, performance management, and recognition.

We're looking for:

• Someone with proven experience as a Sales Manager within the automotive industry, preferably in a main dealership environment.
• Someone with a leader’s mindset and strong relationship-building skills, able to inspire and motivate a team to consistently meet and exceed targets.
• Someone results-oriented, with a track record of maximising profitability through effective stock management and sales strategies.
