Job summary

Military Medical Personnel is seeking a Locum Doctor (General Practitioner) with MoD experience to cover a 37-hour week assignment at Lichfield Medical Centre in Lichfield, Staffordshire. The role focuses on delivering high-quality care to MoD service personnel in a UK-based location.

The position is a locum contract with standard responsibilities including PHC clinics, OH fitness for work assessments, and reporting per MOD policy.

Qualifications

• GMC registration on the main register and GP register without restrictions.
• Current satisfactory in-date annual appraisal per GMP.
• Certification for Safeguarding Children/Adults to Level 3.
• Previous Ministry of Defence (MOD) experience.
• Must be on the UK NHS Performers List with an NHS Performer number.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Locum Doctor (General Practitioner) with MoD Experience to cover an assignment with the Ministry of Defence (MoD), at Lichfield Medical Centre, in Lichfield, Staffordshire.

This is a locum role (37 hours per week) and the successful candidate will deliver an exceptional standard of care to the MoD service personnel.

Hourly Rate - £69.12 per hour

Job Description:

• Undertake Primary Healthcare (PHC) clinics for Military and entitled personnel.
• Examinations and Occupational Health (OH) fitness for work assessments within the locum doctors scope of experience and qualification.
• To inform the local medical authority of any case that may affect a servicepersons ability to undertake their duties.
• To complete reports and documentation in accordance with MOD policy or the requirements of any other government department.
• To attend individual management reviews or case conferences with Primary Healthcare (PHC) and/or line management as required.
