Honeybeerecruitment.com Ltd. trading as Military Medical Personnel (MMP) is seeking a General Practitioner with Aviation Medicine qualifications to cover a MoD assignment at RAF Lossiemouth Medical Centre, Lossiemouth, Morayshire.

The locum role is 30 hours per week, offering an hourly rate of £72.58. The successful candidate will provide PHC and OH services to MoD personnel, with compliance and reporting as required.

Qualifications

• Essential requirements/ Qualifications/ Experience: GPs must be registered with the GMC main register and GP Register without restrictions.
• Diploma in Aviation Medicine or RAF MAME course completed.
• Current annual appraisal in line with GMP Good Medical Practice.
• Certification for Safeguarding Children and Young People and Safeguarding Adults (Level 3) up to date.
• Must be on the UK NHS Performers List and provide a Performer number.

Responsibilities

• Undertake Primary Healthcare (PHC) clinics for Military and entitled personnel.
• Examinations and Occupational Health (OH) assessments within locum scope.
• Inform local medical authority of cases affecting duties.
• Complete reports per MOD policy or other government requirements.
• Attend management reviews or case conferences with PHC/line management as required.

We are lookingfor a Locum Doctor (General Practitioner with Aviation Medicine Qualification) to cover an assignment with the Ministry of Defence (MoD), at RAF Lossiemouth Medical Centre, in Lossiemouth, Morayshire.

This is an locum role (30 hours per week) and the successful candidate will deliver an exceptional standard of care to the MoD service personnel.

Hourly Rate - £72.58 per hour

Main duties of the job

• Undertake Primary Healthcare (PHC) clinics for Military and entitled personnel.
• Examinations and Occupational Health (OH) assessments within the locum doctors scope of experience and qualification.
• To inform the local medical authority of any case that may affect a servicemans ability to undertake their duties.
• To complete reports and documentation in accordance with MOD policy or the requirements of any other government department.
• To attend individual management reviews or case conferences with Primary Healthcare (PHC) and/or line management as required.

• Diploma in Aviation Medicine or have completed the RAF Military Aviation Medicine Examiner (MAME) Course.
• Must have a current, satisfactory in date annual appraisal in line with the requirements of the General Medical Councils (GMCs) Good Medical Practice (GMP).
• Must be in date and able to provide certification for Safeguarding Children and Young People and Safeguarding Adults up to and including Level 3 training.
• Must be on the UK NHS Performers List and provide an NHS Performer number.
