An established industry player in palliative care is seeking a dedicated General Practitioner to join their bank service. This role involves providing essential out-of-hours support at a children's hospice, ensuring timely and effective medical care for patients. Havens Hospices provides palliative nursing and supportive care to adults and children living with complex or incurable conditions.
Our specialist Care Teams can support them and their family living throughout illness, death, and bereavement, in the comfort of their own home and through our hospice services, Fair Havens and Little Havens.
We focus on their quality of life, caring for individual physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual needs. We don’t charge a penny for any of our care services. Our hospice care can only exist because of the support and generosity of the community.

We have an opportunity for a General Practitioner to join our bank GP service, predominantly located at our Little Havens Children's Hospice in Thundersley, Essex. This role will support our service on an out of hours basis (evenings and weekends), offering GP cover and support where required.
This role will provide out of hours support for our CYP service located at Little Havens, responding by phone within one hour of the request, offering an initial triage service, advice and guidance, and attending on-site if necessary.

Our specialist Care Teams can support them and their family living throughout illness, death, and bereavement in the comfort of their own home and through our hospice services, Fair Havens and Little Havens.
