We have a fantastic opportunity for a General Practitioner to join our healthcare team at HMP Lewes, a category B remand prison based in Lewes, East Sussex. The prison houses around 692 patients aged between 18-65 years of age. Within this role, you will be working in receptions supporting the intake of new patients into the prison. You will work closely with the multi-disciplinary team including the substance misuse nurses and early days mental health team to deliver high-quality healthcare services. Suitable applicants for this role must have experience and feel confident prescribing controlled substances.

Hours Monday to Friday 6pm-10pm, Saturday 2-6. We are open to considering this as a job share. These sessions will be face-to-face with patients on site at HMP Lewes.Salary
This part-time role involves 24 hours per week, with an annual salary of up to £130,000 FTE, depending on experience.
