We have a fantastic opportunity for a General Practitioner to join our healthcare team at HMP Lewes, a category B remand prison based in Lewes, East Sussex. The prison houses around 692 patients aged between 18-65 years of age. Within this role you will be working in receptions supporting the intake of new patients into the prison. You will work closely with the multi-disciplinary team including the substance misuse nurses, and early days mental health team to deliver high quality healthcare services. Suitable applicant for this role must have experience and feel confident prescribing controlled substance.
Hours
Monday to Friday 6pm-10pm
Saturday 2-6
We are also able to consider this as a job share.
These sessions will be face to face with patients on site at HMP Lewes.
Salary
This position is a part time role working 24 hours per week, with an annual salary of up to £130,000 FTE per annum depending on experience.
