Job summary

Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust is seeking a General Porter to join the Facilities Directorate on a full-time basis at Tunbridge Wells Hospital, Pembury. The role provides a comprehensive portering service to patients, staff and visitors.

You'll move patients, equipment, documentation, linen and waste, maintain a safe clean environment, and work as part of a responsive team. Training will be provided and prior healthcare experience is advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Move patients, equipment, documentation, linen and waste in a safe, efficient manner.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment in line with Trust policies.
• Undertake duties to ensure an efficient portering service in patient and non-patient areas.
