Job summary

CTRG Limited is seeking a General Operative to join the team at Magna Park, Lutterworth (LE17 4XN). The role offers a 4-day fixed shift from 0600 to 1600, Monday to Thursday, with a pay rate of £12.71 per hour and a paid break after 12 weeks of service.

No prior experience is required as comprehensive training will be provided. Duties include recycling, baling, manual handling, sorting waste, and maintaining a safe, tidy work area.

Qualifications

• No relatable experience required – all training will be provided
• Can-do attitude with a willingness to learn something new
• Willing to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive work

Responsibilities

• Recycling waste materials including cardboard, plastic, and food waste
• Baling and banding cardboard
• Manual handling of waste and recyclable materials
• Loading empty cages of cardboard onto the baling machine ready for condensing
• Organising, sorting, and disposing of recyclable goods
• Carrying out rework activities as required
• Waste removal and disposal across the site
• Emptying recyclables from customers’ equipment
• Maintaining a hazard-free working environment by ensuring all work areas are kept clean and tidy
• Working safely in close proximity to MHE (Material Handling Equipment) and other machinery, following all health and safety procedures
