Job summary

Pro-Force Recruitment is seeking general operatives for a busy meat factory in SY12 9BL. You will sort, place and monitor meat on conveyor lines, and may cut and shape pieces while upholding strict hygiene and food safety standards.

The role starts 07:00, finishes 15:30, Monday to Saturday with one midweek day off and a fixed Sunday. Temp-to-perm after probation; PPE provided; onsite subsidised canteen and opportunities to gain qualifications through our training team.

• Basic numeracy and literacy; induction test will be held.

Job description

General operatives needed for a busy stable meat factory based in SY12 9BL.

• Start 07:00 am / Finish 3.30 pm, Monday to Saturday, 1 off during the week, one fixed on Sunday
• Pay Rate – above the minimum wage £13.59; overtime is paid after 37.5 hours weekly which is £17.01.
• Job involves sorting, placing, and monitoring various meat products on conveyor lines, cutting, and shaping pieces of meat. Attention to hygiene and food safety is required.
• Opportunity to get qualifications/certificates with a supportive training team
• Basic numeracy and literacy – an induction test will be held
• Must have proof of current Right to Work
• PPE provided
• Subsidised canteen onsite; staff meat products every week
• Start on Monday after prior registration and factory visit
• Own Transport / Shared transport with co-workers from the same shift
• Temp to Perm Role after probation period
