Vortex Companies, LLC is seeking a dedicated Labourer to support drainage, utility installation and groundwork on our construction sites in Slough. You will assist with lifting, site cleanliness and safety compliance, working under experienced operators and tradespeople.

Candidates should hold a valid CSCS card and a Full UK driving licence. Prior site experience and knowledge of health and safety practices are highly valued; physical fitness and reliability are essential.

Formación

• CSCS card and valid NRSWA/Street Works qualification.
• Full UK driving licence essential.
• Experience on construction/civil engineering sites preferred.
• Knowledge of health and safety on site required.
• Confined space certification is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Assisting with drainage and utility installation works.
• Supporting excavation and groundwork activities.
• Loading, unloading and moving materials safely around site.
• Assisting plant operators and skilled trades as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with drainage, and utility installation works
• Supporting excavation and groundwork activities
• Loading, unloading, and moving materials and equipment safely around site
• Assisting plant operators and skilled trades where required
• Maintaining site cleanliness
• Following all health & safety procedures and site rules
• Assisting with temporary works, and traffic management activities
• Working as part of a team to ensure works are completed safely and efficiently
• Carrying out general labouring duties as directed by site management

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Previous experience working on construction, civil engineering, utilities, or groundwork projects
• Valid CSCS Card
• Good understanding of health & safety on site
• Confined space certification
• Street works / NRSWA qualification
