Job summary

Vortex Companies, LLC is seeking a Labourer to assist on drainage and utility installation works across the South of the UK. No previous experience is required as full training will be provided to get you up to speed.

You will be well organized, a team player, and capable of communicating politely with customers and colleagues while adhering to health and safety procedures. The role requires flexibility for nights, weekends, and early starts as operations run 24/7.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assisting with drainage, and utility installation works.
• Loading, unloading, and moving materials and equipment safely around site.
• Assisting plant operators and skilled trades where required.
• Maintaining site cleanliness.
• Following all health & safety procedures and site rules.
• Assisting with SLG activities.
• Working as part of a team to ensure works are completed safely and efficiently.
• Carrying out general labouring duties as directed by site management.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with drainage, and utility installation works

Skills & Knowledge Requirements

• No experience necessary. Full training will be provided
• Must be well organized and have a positive can-do attitude
• Be able to work as part of a team
• You will visit various types of clients and sites, from commercial, residential, and industrial therefore it is essential you are able to communicate effectively and politely with customers and colleagues throughout the business
• Willing to undertake training and development as appropriate
• Be able to work using your own initiative
• Must operate in accordance with our H&S and Quality Procedures

Essential Requirements

• Full UK driving license (preferably no more than 3 points)
• Towing experience preferred
• Must be flexible as you will be required to carry out a reasonable amount of overtime
• Be willing to work nights, weekends and early starts as we operative 24/7
