Job summary

Vortex Companies, LLC is seeking a General Operative for projects across the South of the UK. The role involves assisting with drainage and utility installation, moving materials, and supporting plant operators on a 24/7 schedule. Training will be provided, and a valid UK driving license is preferred.

We expect you to be organized, customer friendly, and capable of working in a team. Ongoing training and development, plus a clear progression path within a specialist wastewater/infra company, are

Qualifications

• No experience required. Full training will be provided.
• Must be well organized and have a positive can-do attitude.
• Be able to work as part of a team.
• You will visit various types of clients and sites, from commercial, residential, and industrial therefore it is essential you are able to communicate effectively and politely with customers and colleagues throughout the business.
• Willing to undertake training and development as appropriate.
• Be able to work using your own initiative.
• Must operate in accordance with our H&S and Quality Procedures.
• Full UK driving license (preferably no more than 3 points)
• Towing experience preferred
• Must be flexible as you will be required to carry out a reasonable amount of overtime
• Be willing to work nights, weekends and early starts as we operative 24/7
