Job summary

Matchtech Group is seeking a Groundworker or Utilities Labourer to support civil excavation works in a UK-wide project with a focus on safety and quality. You will operate in line with NRSWA requirements and client specifications, while maintaining professional conduct with colleagues and the public.

Responsibilities include accurate information logging, RAMS adherence, and contributing to incident investigations when needed. A valid driving licence and relevant site cards are required.

Qualifications

• Has full and valid driving licence.
• CSCS and/or EUSR card required.

Responsibilities

The Role:

We are delighted to work with SSE and business growth means that we have vacancies for operatives, to safely undertake civil excavation works, in a way that mitigates health and safety risks, as well as meeting contract targets. The activities that you get involved with include:

• Complying with NRSWA and client specifications.
• Ensuring all interactions with colleagues, customers and members of the public are polite and professional, minimising the need to escalati.
• Compliance with health, safety and environmental procedures and taking responsibility for the quality of work undertaken.
• Accurate and timely completion of all information related to completed and active jobs.
• Carrying out activities in accordance with the RAMS and highlighting/escalation deviations.
• Cooperating in any incident, accident or damage investigation.

If you have the following experience, we would love to hear from you:

• We are keen to receive applications from teams or individuals, with a full and valid driving licence.
• CSCS and / or EUSR card needed
• Experience working in the utilities industry including safe excavation.
• Good appreciation for high standards of work and safe working practices
