Mears Group PLC in Peterborough is seeking a Void Clearance Operative to prepare vacant properties for refurbishment and new residents. You will clear items, remove waste, and ensure spaces are empty, safe and ready for the next stage of works.
This is a physically active, varied role requiring travel between properties, working independently or with a team, with emphasis on health and safety and customer service.
Salary: £28,186.33
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time Hours
Hours: 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Void Clearance Operative to join our team, helping to prepare vacant properties for refurbishment and new residents. Working across a range of residential properties, you will be responsible for clearing unwanted items, removing waste, and ensuring properties are empty, safe, and ready for the next stage of works.
This is a varied, physically active role that involves travelling between properties, working independently and as part of a team, and maintaining high standards of health, safety, and customer service at all times.
All our roles require candidates to have the entitlement to work within the UK, Mears does not currently offer visa sponsorship.
To drive a Mears vehicle, you must be aged over 21 have held your licence over 3 months and have less than 9 points.
