Mears Group is seeking a Multi-skilled operative to join our Birmingham team on a permanent, full-time basis. You will perform multi-trade maintenance across social housing properties, handling voids and planned works as part of our Birmingham City Council contract.
A strong focus on safety, efficiency, and resident-friendly service is essential. Role involves on-site duties, using handheld devices to record work, and contributing to a high standards culture.

Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £37,000 + company van and fuel card
with additional opportunities for overtime. There is also an optional out-of-hours call rota, providing the chance to further enhance your overall earnings.

Mears Group has been awarded a major new 10-year partnership with Birmingham City Council to deliver repairs, maintenance, and planned investment work across 11,500 homes in central and west Birmingham. This contract represents one of our most significant projects in the city and will create a wide range of opportunities across our operational teams.
We are looking for multi skilled operatives to join our team in Birmingham. These are dynamic roles where you’ll be responsible for carrying out multi-trade works across social housing properties. Depending on the role, you will either be delivering planned maintenance programmes or preparing void properties to a high standard ahead of re-let. No two days are the same, and your ability to adapt, problem-solve, and deliver excellent customer service will be key to your success.

To drive a Mears vehicle, you must be aged over 21 have held your licence over 3 months and have less than 9 points.
