Job summary

Moulton Bulb Co. Ltd is seeking a motivated General Operative to support the grader team in a busy production environment in Moulton, England. The role follows a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern from 05:45am to 5:30pm and requires careful attention to quality and process standards.

You will inspect products, operate barcode scanners, keep the area clean and assist with setting up the grading line. Forklift support may be required occasionally, for which training will be provided.

• Maintain cleanliness with a "clean as you go" approach and remove debris during and after production runs.
• Assist with setting up the grading line, including operating screens and topper beds per SOPs.
• Potential occasional forklift support with training provided.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a motivated General Operative to work with the grader team

Working hours: 05:45am to 5:30pm on a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern

The Position

• Inspect products as they move along the production line and remove any items that fail to meet quality standards
• Operate barcode scanners to track products entering and exiting production lines as required
• Maintain cleanliness throughout production by following “clean as you go” procedures, ensuring all debris is removed during, between, and after production runs
• Assist with setting up the grading line when needed, including operating machinery such as screens and topper beds in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Potential occasional forklift support as required (training can be provided for suitable candidates)
