Job summary

DS Smith in Kettering is seeking two General Operatives for a 3-week temporary assignment, working 3 days per week with 36 hours total. The role is based at Burton Latimer, Kettering, with shifts 6am–6pm, Monday to Wednesday.

Pay is £17.34 per hour, with benefits including paid holiday and CV editing assistance. Ideally you have experience in manufacturing/production, can stand for long periods, and are flexible to work extra days if needed.

Qualifications

• Can do attitude.
• Previous experience in a production/manufacturing environment desirable.
• Comfortable being on foot for long periods.
• Able to conduct manual handling.
• Flexibility to work extra days.

Responsibilities

• Collecting Pallets off the production line and stacking.
• Keeping work area clean and tidy.
• Working in line with Health and Safety guidance and processes at all times.
• Quality checking product.
• Completing any other duties relevant to the department as requested by the shift manager.
