Job summary

Homes for Students, the UK's largest independent provider of Student Accommodation, is seeking a General Manager for The Ice Vault in Glasgow to lead a thriving student community and drive excellence in customer service across sales, maintenance and housekeeping.

From September, you will manage check-in/check-out and room turnaround, coordinate with the regional team, and handle operational challenges with strong communication and a focus on safety and high standards.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in similar role or environment.
• Strong data presentation and analysis skills.
• Impeccable organisational abilities.
• Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Office software.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the team to deliver a high-quality student living experience.
• Oversee check-in, check-out and room turnaround processes from September.
• Ensure excellent customer service across sales, maintenance and housekeeping.
• Collaborate with the wider Homes for Students team and regional leaders.
• Address operational issues promptly with clear communication and problem solving.
