Upham Inns is seeking a General Manager for one of its pubs in Southern England. You will lead daily operations, coach the team to deliver outstanding guest experiences, and drive community engagement.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as General Manager of Gastro style pub (min 1 year)
• Strong leader to foster teamwork aligned with company vision
• Passionate about hospitality and high-standard service
• Available to work up to 48 hours per week including evenings and weekends
• Right to Work in the UK
• Experience with P&L, sales and labour budgeting

Responsibilities

• Oversee pub operations in line with company standards
• Lead, train and develop the team for exceptional guest service
• Engage with the local community to drive repeat business and reputation
• Ensure health and safety compliance and licensing standards
• Prepare rosters 2+ weeks in advance within labour budgets
