To organise and supervise the unit in accordance with the standards required by Compass Group UK & Ireland, the contract specification, and statutory regulations. Responsible for the overall efficient management of the unit, ensuring a quality service. Oversee the preparation, cooking, and service of food to meet standards and specifications. Ensure the efficient use of resources, including stock, team members, and assets.

Who you are:

• Provide strategic guidance to organise and manage the business through your team
• Previous contract catering experience
• Effective communication, motivation, and guidance of your management team and catering staff
• Set operational responsibilities and monitor performance
• Overall responsibility for food safety and health procedures
• Regular communication with the client
• Complete action plans based on customer satisfaction surveys
• Promote the unit and act as a Compass Group advocate
• Experience managing stakeholders
• Deliver client hospitality to standard and seek feedback
• Identify opportunities to develop and innovate the service
• Operate within budget, monitor trends, and take corrective actions if needed
• Ensure customer requirements are met
