As a manager, you will organize and supervise the unit according to Compass Group UK & Ireland standards, contract specifications, and statutory regulations. You will be responsible for the efficient management of the unit, ensuring quality service, overseeing food preparation and service, and making optimal use of resources, including stock, team members, and assets.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing strategic guidance and managing the team effectively
  • Having previous contract catering experience
  • Communicating, motivating, and guiding your management team and staff daily
  • Taking responsibility for food quality and health and safety compliance
  • Maintaining regular communication with the client
  • Implementing action plans based on customer feedback
  • Promoting the unit and representing Compass Group positively
  • Managing stakeholder relationships
  • Ensuring hospitality standards meet client expectations and seeking feedback
  • Identifying opportunities for service enhancement and innovation
  • Managing budgets and monitoring trends for corrective actions
  • Delivering customer requirements effectively
