OurHouse in Chiswick is opening Olive's House and seeks a General Manager to lead the launch. You will hire and shape the founding team, set the standard from day one and create a culture people are proud to be part of.

This highly visible leadership role requires a confident operator who puts people, service and consistency at the heart of the House. You’ll own recruitment, budgets and health and safety, guiding multiple departments to deliver a remarkable family experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a General Manager or senior operations leader in hospitality, leisure or premium family environments.
• Genuine P&L and labour budget ownership with proven results.
• Led large teams across multiple departments.
• Strong understanding of health and safety legislation.
• Knowledge of safeguarding responsibilities at site level in family spaces.
• Track record of opening, launching or transforming a site or leading through significant change.

Responsibilities

• Be present on the floor, know members by name and guard the standard at every touchpoint.
• Lead department heads across Food and Beverage, Kids Club, Fitness & Wellness and Membership Experience.
• Own member retention and satisfaction, tracking NPS, churn and engagement so every family wants to stay.
• Own recruitment, training and development across every role in the House, building a strong succession pipeline.
• Drive the financial performance of the House: budgets, forecasting, labour and rota efficiency.
• Ensure health and safety compliance and facilities standards across the site.
• Serve as safeguarding lead for Kids Club and crche where required.

Lead the opening of Olive's House

The Role

This is a highly visible leadership position for a confident, capable operator. Reporting to our Head of Clubs and partnering with your Deputy General Manager, you'll keep people, service and consistency at the heart of the House. It's a role for someone who cares deeply about people, community and purposeful growth.

What You'll Do

This Role Will Suit Someone Who

• Has 3+ years as a General Manager or senior operations leader in hospitality, leisure or premium family environments
• Has genuine P&L and labour budget ownership, and can show the results
• Has led large teams across multiple departments
• Has a strong working knowledge of health and safety and food safety legislation
• Understands safeguarding responsibilities at site level, and why they matter in a family space
• Has opened, launched or transformed a site, or led a team through significant change
