The role focuses on building a high-performing team, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and driving revenue across the bistro, café, takeaway, and premium deli. Chelsea’s vibrant community will be at the heart of daily operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years proven success as a General Manager or senior leader within a premium café, restaurant and bistro.
• Passion for food, coffee, artisan products, and guest experience.
• Ability to build and develop high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the ongoing development of the 1922 concept.
• Recruit, inspire, train, and retain an exceptional team.
• Create a culture of warmth, professionalism, accountability, and hospitality excellence.
• Act as a visible and engaging presence within the operation, leading from the front every day.
• Champion The Sloane Club's values and standards throughout the business.
• Create a memorable and welcoming environment that attracts Club members and the local Chelsea community.
• Build long-term relationships with regular guests, local businesses, and neighbourhood stakeholders.
• Develop initiatives that drive revenue across the bistro, café, takeaway, and deli retail offer.
• Identify opportunities for events, partnerships, seasonal activations, and community engagement.
• Ensure seamless execution across all areas of the operation.
• Maintain exceptional standards of food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and service delivery.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures that support consistency and efficiency.
