Job summary

Pickerings Hire, a leading UK provider of modular buildings, is seeking a dynamic General Manager for the Birmingham depot. You will own the overall performance, safety and service standards, leading a multi-disciplinary team to deliver efficient hire operations and exceptional customer experiences.

You’ll partner with head office to hit commercial targets, manage budgets and drive continuous improvement while maintaining high HSE standards.

• Proven management experience within hire, construction, or a related industry.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Commercially minded with experience in budgeting and performance management.
• Excellent communication and customer relationship skills.

The Role
