Opportunity: General Manager in Birmingham

This is an exciting opportunity to join our operational team in Birmingham as a General Manager.

This role covers two sites: Corkfield and Crownworks.

We are seeking a strong and vibrant leader to oversee onsite teams, ensuring excellence across departments including Customer Service, Facilities Management, Health & Safety, and Leasing. You will manage the residential operating budget and ensure our team delivers a world-class customer experience at every touchpoint. Additionally, you will collaborate with the Regional Head of Operations to implement business process improvements and develop standard operating procedures for the sites.

Candidate Profile
  • Experience in BTR, property sector, hospitality, or leisure industries at a General Manager level.
  • A passion for customer service and excellence.
  • Understanding of the challenges of managing large buildings and estates.
  • Knowledge of building operations and statutory obligations.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborative leadership style with strong qualities to motivate and lead teams.
  • Clear, calm, and bright communication skills.
  • Organized with a methodical approach to tasks.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Discretion in handling sensitive information.
