Marston’s plc is seeking a General Manager for The Honey Bee in Aylesbury. The role offers up to £50,000 salary plus performance-based bonus and a generous benefits package, with on-site accommodation available.

About the pub

We are seeking an ambitious and customer-focused General Manager to lead a successful community pub that has recently transitioned into a 2-door operation following a strong performance under Capax ownership.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced operator to take ownership of a well-established business with solid foundations and significant potential for future growth.

This thriving two-door pub operation benefits from an estimated weekly turnover of £37,000, with a strong wet-led sales mix of 60/40 and approximately 1,300 covers per week. The business enjoys consistent trade driven by Sky Sports and TNT Sports, attracting sports fans throughout the week, while its popular pool and darts offering helps create a vibrant and engaging atmosphere. An attractive beer garden provides additional capacity and trading opportunities, particularly during the warmer months. Having previously benefited from a CAPEX investment and now operating successfully as a two-door venue, the pub has built a strong community reputation and enjoys a loyal customer base, making it an excellent opportunity for an experienced operator.

Management accommodation is available in the form of 1 bedroom bedsit.
