Restaurant Associates UK is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead a dynamic, contract catering site in a 7‑day operation. You will oversee cafe service, events, seminars and conference spaces, including an AI space, ensuring consistently high standards of hospitality and operational delivery.

You will manage staffing, safety and client relationships while driving commercial success across the site, with a hands‑on, hands‑on leadership approach and a focus on exceptional customer

Qualifications

• Experience in a General Manager, Operations Manager or senior catering management role.
• Experience within contract catering or workplace hospitality, high‑volume environments.
• Experience managing events and conference catering.
• Commercial and operational mindset is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the site team across a 24/7 operation.
• Oversee café, events, seminar and conference catering.
• Build strong client and stakeholder relationships.
• Drive customer service and hospitality standards.
• Manage staffing, rotas, performance and development.
• Maintain high standards of food safety and health & safety.
• Monitor performance and support commercial targets.
• Coordinate event planning and delivery.
• Identify opportunities to improve service and efficiency.
• Collaborate with the wider contract catering team.
