Job summary

Popeyes UK & I is seeking an experienced Restaurant General Manager to own the performance of a high-volume Popeyes site. You will drive P&L, sales, labour, and food cost while upholding brand standards and guest experience.

You will recruit, coach and develop a strong team, ensure HACCP and health & safety compliance, and optimise stock and schedules. Join a dynamic, fast-paced environment where leadership and execution matter, and where career development through Popeyes University is

Qualifications

• Proven General Manager in a branded, high‑volume QSR or fast‑casual restaurant.
• Ability to deliver quality, safety and cleanliness standards at all times.
• Track record of hitting sales targets, managing P&L and controlling costs.
• Experience with labour scheduling, stock management and inventory systems.
• Strong people leadership with experience growing talent.

Responsibilities

• Own full accountability for restaurant performance including P&L, sales, labour, and costs.
• Lead, develop and motivate the team to deliver high standards and guest experience.
• Ensure food safety, health and safety compliance and employment legislation.
• Recruitment, succession planning and development for the site.
• Control stock, ordering, waste and inventory; build optimisation rotas.
• Review performance data to identify opportunities and take action.

What you’ll do here

• Ensure compliance with food safety (HACCP), health & safety, and employment legislation
• Full accountability for your restaurant’s performance, inc P&L, sales, labour, food cost, audit and brand standards
• Support and develop your team to grow their careers and unleash their potential
• Deliver Popeyes' food quality, speed of service, and guest experience standards
• Own recruitment, development plans, and succession planning for your site
• Control stock, inventory, ordering, and waste to target
• Build rotas that balance availability, labour budgets, and peak trade
• Review performance data to identify opportunities and take action

What you’ll bring to the table:

• Proven experience as a General Manager in a branded, high-volume QSR or fast-casual restaurant

• Experience with labour scheduling, stock management, and inventory systems
• Strong people leadership, you've built teams and developed future talent
• Experience in new-site openings or multi-site environments is beneficial
