Job summary

POPEYES UK CHICKEN & PIZZA LTD is seeking an experienced Restaurant General Manager in the UK to take full ownership of a high‑volume Popeyes site. You’ll lead the team to deliver outstanding guest experience, strong food safety, and financial performance across P&L, labour, and costs.

You’ll recruit, develop and motivate staff, manage stock, schedules and vendor relationships, and uphold our standards while driving growth and a fun, energetic culture across the restaurant.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a General Manager in a branded, high-volume QSR or fast-casual restaurant.
• Track record of hitting sales targets, managing P&L, and controlling costs.
• Experience with labour scheduling, stock management and inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety, and employment legislation.
• Full accountability for restaurant performance, including P&L, sales, labour, food cost, and audits.
• Recruit, develop and lead the team to deliver excellent guest experience and standards.

What you’ll do here

• Ensure compliance with food safety (HACCP), health & safety, and employment legislation
• Full accountability for your restaurant’s performance, inc P&L, sales, labour, food cost, audit and brand standards
• Support and develop your team to grow their careers and unleash their potential
• Deliver Popeyes' food quality, speed of service, and guest experience standards
• Own recruitment, development plans, and succession planning for your site
• Control stock, inventory, ordering, and waste to target
• Build rotas that balance availability, labour budgets, and peak trade
• Review performance data to identify opportunities and take action
• Bring the Fun and keep the energy high, the service smooth, and the culture poppin'

What you’ll bring to the table:

• Proven experience as a General Manager in a branded, high-volume QSR or fast-casual restaurant
• Ability to deliver quality, safety and cleanliness standards at all time

• Experience with labour scheduling, stock management, and inventory systems
• Strong people leadership, you've built teams and developed future talent
• Experience in new-site openings or multi-site environments is beneficial
