Job summary

Popeyes UK&I is seeking an experienced Restaurant General Manager to take full ownership of a busy site in Birmingham. You will lead a high-performing team, ensuring top-tier food quality, service speed, and guest experience while driving sales and controlling costs.

The role requires a proven leadership background in a branded, high-volume restaurant, with the ability to recruit, develop talent, and manage P&L in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven GM experience in a branded, high-volume QSR or fast-casual restaurant.
• Strong leadership to develop and motivate teams.
• Track record of hitting sales targets and managing P&L.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with food safety (HACCP), health & safety, and employment legislation.
• Full accountability for restaurant performance, inc P&L, sales, labour, food cost, audit and brand standards.
• Support and develop your team to grow their careers and unleash their potential.
• Deliver Popeyes' food quality, speed of service, and guest experience standards.
• Own recruitment, development plans, and succession planning for your site.
• Control stock, inventory, ordering, and waste to target.
• Build rotas that balance availability, labour budgets, and peak trade.
• Review performance data to identify opportunities and take action.
• Bring the Fun and keep the energy high, the service smooth, and the culture poppin’

• Proven experience as a General Manager in a branded, high-volume QSR or fast-casual restaurant
• Ability to deliver quality, safety and cleanliness standards at all time
• Track record of hitting sales targets, managing P&L, and controlling costs
• Experience with labour scheduling, stock management, and inventory systems
• Strong people leadership, you've built teams and developed future talent
• Experience in new-site openings or multi-site environments is beneficial
• The ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
