Hall & Woodhouse’s Lulworth Cove Inn, part of the Dorset-based brewer, sits on the Jurassic Coast and offers a warm, dog-friendly, quality English pub setting with modern standards.

We are recruiting a General Manager to lead a fabulous team, drive guest excellence, and manage seasonal trade and letting rooms, with up to £57K salary, profit share, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in branded hospitality.
• Strong kitchen oversight and food production control.
• Willing to relocate or be based locally.
• Deep knowledge of quality food and drink and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage seasonal trade and letting rooms.

Part of the Hall & Woodhouse family of incredible destination inns and set in the Natural World Heritage Site of Lulworth Cove on the Jurassic Coast, the Lulworth Cove Inn is a stunning example of a friendly, quality English pub that we all know and love. Almost 400 years old, the inn was originally a mail stagecoach stop on the road from Wareham to get fresh horses and drop off mail for Lulworth Villagers, later it was a haven for the smugglers who brought ashore French lace, brandy and other contraband to sell to the good citizens of Lulworth. Today you’re guaranteed a warm welcome, we’re family and dog friendly as any great pub should be with a beautiful terrace, wood burners and great food.

What you'll need to be:

• An experienced GM with great leadership capability within branded hospitality
• Competent in kitchen oversight and the control of food production
• Based in the local, area or planning to re-locate
• An expert in quality food and drink, with high attention to detail
• Confidently able to manage the additional complexity and challenges of seasonal trade and letting rooms
• A strategic commercially minded operator with experience growing hospitality businesses
• Diligent with brand standards and processes
