Base pay range

We are currently recruiting for a General Manager to work with us at a workplace site in Ware.

We are looking for an experienced General Manager to lead a team of 22 at a lovely B&I site set across two walkable buildings, featuring a coffee shop, staff dining with breakfast and lunch options, and vending services.

Location: SG12 0DE

Rate of pay: £45,000 per annum

Working pattern: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 7am to 3.30pm

Key responsibilities

• Manage a free issues food offer and drive vending and staff dining programs
• Lead an innovative and controlled product range
• Support the supply of a free issues coffee program working with an experienced Barista team
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with relevant clients
• Ensure client expectations of food and service are consistently met and aligned with the CH&CO brand
• Achieve financial targets within the agreed budget
• Provide performance management and appraisals for Front of House staff and the Head Chef
• Ensure staff adhere to health, hygiene, quality, and safety standards
• Communicate effectively with the European Hub of the client’s business
• Promote innovation, engagement, and excellence
