Job description

Are you an ambitious General Manager looking for a highly autonomous role, with the power to really shape and influence the business?

As a General Manager for our client's organisation, you will be responsible for managing one of their busy centres. You will create a safe, fun, and vibrant environment for your team and customers.

You will have the freedom to make a significant impact by driving the financial and commercial performance of your centre across all four revenue streams: Food, Drink, Amusements, and Bowling/Golf. You will be fully accountable for achieving your budget and KPIs, driving profit, and sharing in the success.

In our client's fast-paced, dynamic environment, General Managers coach, lead, motivate, and inspire their teams to deliver outstanding service that delights customers and encourages repeat business.

To be successful, you should have:

  • At least eighteen months of hands-on experience as a General Manager, ideally within the leisure, hospitality, or retail industry
  • A relentless commitment to operational excellence
  • Proven ability to optimise sales and performance of a business unit
  • A passion for people, with experience in coaching, developing, and progressing team members
  • An empathetic and compassionate approach
  • Resilience, flexibility, and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to work nights and weekends
