Job summary

Vertu Land Rover Taunton seeks an experienced General Manager to lead the Taunton dealership. You will manage all departments, drive sales and profitability, build relationships with the manufacturer, and uphold policy compliance in line with Vertu standards.

This role offers £80,000 basic salary with on-target earnings of £110,000, a company car and a comprehensive benefits package. You will foster a customer-centric, high-performance culture, mentor teams, and ensure safety and integrity

We are looking for an experienced automotive leader, ideally a current or former General Manager, to lead our business at Vertu Land Rover Taunton. This is an exciting opportunity to represent Jaguar Land Rover and lead a prestigious dealership with significant potential. As part of the wider Vertu JLR division, the site operates in a performance-focused environment spanning the Range Rover, Defender and Discovery brands, with a strong emphasis on client care, sales performance and operational excellence. We are seeking an exceptional leader who can deliver outstanding performance across all departments while ensuring the highest standards of customer satisfaction. As General Manager, you will be accountable for the overall performance of the dealership, including:
