We're looking for a General Manager for a canal side Community Pub. Salary up to £40,000 plus bonus and a generous benefits package.

About the pub

The Ash Tree has a beautiful canal side location with an amazing garden - just two miles from Rugeley town centre. It's garden is a real draw for locals with an additional 150 covers and a self-contained external bar, this has been classed as one of the best gardens in the local area. There is also a large car park to the front of the pub.

Inside there are two main trading areas - a large bar area which attracts more drinkers with gaming machines, comfy seating and a TV and a dining area with an open fire place, both served by an large L shaped bar. The Ash Tree has weekly takings of approx. £16,000 on average but huge potential to comfortably deliver between £25,000 - £28,000 per week. It is currently 58% food and 42% wet. It has amazing potential for a new manager to continue to grow the sales in this site and an operator who is eager to make this pub part of the community

Management accommodation is available in the form of two bedroom flat above the pub.
