Job Title: KidStrong General Manager
Center: KidStrong Plymouth
Reports To: Area Developer
KidStrong General Managers are the leaders of the center – responsible for fostering a culture of learning and development for coaches and families. They are talented, welcoming, and engaging leaders focused on setting goals and delivering an exceptional experience for kids, families, and team members. The goal is to develop and train the coaching team, build relationships with members, and achieve key business results such as sales and member retention.
Responsibilities
CENTER OPERATIONS
- Understand key KPIs and financials to make informed decisions.
- Build relationships with families, providing exceptional customer service.
- Oversee initiatives like maintenance, training, and brand consistency.
- Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning and maintenance; delegate tasks accordingly.
- Manage employee issues and documentation.
- Manage schedule with 4 weekday and 1 weekend shifts, communicating effectively.
- Promote and sell KidStrong events to maximize profitability.
SALES
- Manage leads via CRM, conduct call drives, and delegate responsibilities.
- Close sales and bookings through online sign-up.
- Attend local events to increase brand awareness and generate leads.
LEADERSHIP
- Foster a coaching culture and assess staff performance.
- Recruit, onboard, train, and evaluate coaching staff.
- Ensure compliance with paperwork and policies.
- Lead staff meetings on development and performance.
- Communicate professionally via Slack and email.
- Participate in weekly leadership meetings.
COACHING
- Deliver curriculum focusing on Brain, Physical, and Character development for children up to 11 years old.
- Create positive interactions with students and families.
- Understand and communicate the curriculum's 'why'.
- Implement programming and use the KS Coaches App for data recording.
- Work in physically intensive environments, covering miles and lifting equipment up to 25 pounds.
- Lead monthly staff meetings on culture, development, and performance.
- Provide 3-5 coaching hours weekly.
Skills/Qualifications
- Experience working with children aged 15 months to 11 years; passion for working with children is essential.
- Achieve Coach Certification and complete required training.
- Comfortable discussing topics with parents/guardians.
- Management experience required.
- Proficiency with Google and Microsoft platforms; experience with ZenPlanner, LearnUpon, CareerPlug, ADP, and FranConnect is preferred.
- Knowledge of physiology, exercise techniques, and body mechanics.
- CPR certified.
Sphere of Interaction
This position supervises the AGM, Lead Coach, and coaching staff, leading and mentoring the team. It involves working closely with families, team members, and KidStrong HQ.

Compensation
$45,000 - $55,000 per year
