General Manager – Premium London Pub | People | Sales | Operations
Location: South West London
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Are you a General Manager who knows how to run a great pub, build a strong team and create a place people genuinely want to come back to?
We’re working with a growing collection of premium London pubs and bars to find an ambitious General Manager to take full ownership of one of their venues.
This is not about simply keeping the pub running.
It’s about leading from the front, driving the business, developing your people and creating a venue with its own identity.
The business is food-led, drinks-focused and built around great hospitality — with fresh, seasonal food, quality drinks, proper service and venues that have a strong sense of personality.
As General Manager, you’ll have overall responsibility for the performance and day-to-day running of the venue.
You’ll be the person who sets the tone, leads the team and makes sure everything comes together — from the guest experience and service standards to sales, people and commercial performance.
You’ll be responsible for:
We’re looking for a commercially strong, people-focused GM who genuinely understands what makes a great pub.
You’ll ideally have experience running a busy premium pub, gastro pub, bar, restaurant or high-volume hospitality venue.
You’ll be someone who:
We’re particularly interested in GMs coming from premium pubs, gastro pubs, competitive socialising, quality casual dining, restaurant groups and high-volume bars.
This is an opportunity to take ownership of a venue within a growing London hospitality group where individual venues have their own identity and personality.
You’ll have the support of an experienced wider management team, but you’ll also have the autonomy to run your venue like a business.
If you’re the kind of GM who gets excited by improving a site, growing sales, developing people and creating a team that genuinely cares about what they do, this is a role where you can make a real impact.
And as the group continues to grow, there is genuine opportunity to progress beyond your individual venue.
