Job description

Are you an experienced General Manager who enjoys being close to the operation, building teams and creating an environment where people take pride in what they do?

This role offers:

• A basic salary of up to £55,000, depending on experience.
• A predominantly Monday-to-Friday working pattern, however, a weekend presence is encouraged.
• The opportunity to lead a large London site and make it your own.
• The autonomy to introduce improvements and shape how the site operates.

As General Manager, you’ll take responsibility for a large, busy site, leading an experienced team, ensuring the operation runs smoothly, efficiently and to a consistently high standard. This is a role for someone who enjoys being visible and involved. You’ll spend time with your team, understand what is working well and identify where additional support, clearer processes or a different approach could make a difference.

There is already an established operation in place, but there will be plenty of opportunity to bring fresh ideas, strengthen the culture and build on what has already been achieved.

You’ll need to be commercially aware, comfortable making decisions and able to balance the needs of your team with the demands of running a busy site. Most importantly, you’ll be someone who leads from the front and knows how to get the best from people.

• Salary: Up to £55,000, depending on experience
• Location: London
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Working pattern: Predominantly Monday to Friday, with some flexibility required to support the operation on weekends.

This role would suit a General Manager or operational leaders from hotels, hostels, student accommodation, serviced apartments or other large, people-led environments.
