Job summary

Fego Caffe Esher seeks a General Manager to lead daily café operations with hands-on presence and a genuine care for guests and staff.

You will set the tone, maintain high standards across service, food and environment, and develop a happy, loyal team while fostering a warm, welcoming atmosphere for guests. Daytime hours and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience running a busy restaurant or café
• On-floor leadership style and front-of-house presence
• Strong team-building and coaching capabilities
• Clear, respectful communication with staff and guests
• Ability to manage rotas, stock, labour and KPIs
• Comfort with making confident, day-to-day decisions
• Ability to lead by example and foster a positive culture

Full-Time | Daytime Only

This role is for someone who believes great hospitality is about relationships, consistency and the small details that make a difference.

About the Role

As General Manager, you’ll set the tone for everything — the energy of the team, the feel of the café, and the experience our guests have every day.

You’ll be hands-on, present and leading from the front — not managing from the office.

You’ll bring structure where needed, but always with a human touch.

You will:
