Job summary

Jaberu Recruitment is seeking a reliable Labourer to join a housebuilding site team. The candidate will support loading/unloading, keep areas clean, move materials, and assist tradespeople while maintaining safety standards.

Must hold a full UK driving licence and be willing to travel due to the remote site location. A CSCS card and own transport are required; the contract is long-term up to 12 months.

Qualifications

• Good physical fitness and stamina for manual labour
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a team
• Basic understanding of health and safety procedures at work
• Reliable with a strong work ethic and punctuality
• Nice-to-have: prior construction/manufacturing experience
• Ability to operate basic tools or machinery is advantageous but not essential

Must hold full UK Drivers licence and be willing to travel due to the remote location of the site. It is not easily accessible by public transport.

• Assisting with the loading and unloading of materials and equipment

• Supporting the movement of goods, tools, and supplies around the site


• Assisting skilled tradespeople with their tasks as required


• Maintaining health and safety protocols at all times


• Performing general labouring duties such as digging, lifting, and carrying materials


• Ensuring all tools and equipment are stored correctly after use
