Job summary

Jaberu Recruitment is seeking a reliable Labourer to join a housebuilding site team. The candidate will support loading/unloading, keep areas clean, move materials, and assist tradespeople while maintaining safety standards.

Must hold a full UK driving licence and be willing to travel due to the remote site location. A CSCS card and own transport are required; the contract is long-term up to 12 months.

Qualifications

• Good physical fitness and stamina for manual labour
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a team
• Basic understanding of health and safety procedures at work
• Reliable with a strong work ethic and punctuality
• Nice-to-have: prior construction/manufacturing experience
• Ability to operate basic tools or machinery is advantageous but not essential

Responsibilities

• Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment
• Prepare work areas and keep them clean and safe
• Move goods, tools and supplies around the site
• Support skilled tradespeople with their tasks as required
• Maintain health and safety standards at all times
• Perform general labouring tasks such as digging, lifting and carrying
• Store tools and equipment securely after use
