Key Responsibilities & Daily Tasks

• Confidently deliver pre-planned lessons across various subject disciplines in KS3 and KS4, ensuring academic continuity and active pupil engagement.
• Establish clear classroom expectations from the outset and implement the academy's behaviour management policies consistently and fairly.

Skills & Personal Qualities Required

• Confident in setting clear boundaries, managing pupil behaviour positively, and keeping students focused on task completion.
• Capable of stepping into different subject departments seamlessly and handling changing daily timetables with a calm, resourceful attitude.

Essential Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS (Unqualified Teachers will also be considered).
• Proven experience delivering general cover or subject-specific teaching across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 environments.
• An enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or a willingness to apply for a new one).
• Full legal right to work within the UK
