WSH Group is hiring a General Assistant at the British Airways Pioneer House staff restaurant in Didsbury. The role is full-time permanent, with a 37.5-hour week from Monday to Friday, 7.00am to 15.00pm, and a salary up to £13.22 per hour.

Free meals while at work and other benefits accompany the package. You will assist with breakfast and lunch service, maintain front-of-house cleanliness, and support the team with stock, food safety, and customer service standards.

Responsabilités

• Assist in the meal preparation and serving of breakfast and lunch, according to established menus and recipes.
• Maintain cleanliness of the front of house areas including replenishing confectionary drinks, organising dishes and utensils for meal services.
• Collaborative working as a team supporting each other during meal preparation, weekly stocktaking and pot-washing.
• Following proper food handling and storage procedures to ensure food safety and prevent contamination.
• Monitor inventory levels of food and supplies and notify management of any shortages or discrepancies.
• Provide friendly and efficient service to staff during mealtimes
• Handle money, operating a till, cashing up at the end of the shift
• Participate in training sessions and meeting related to food service procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards.
• Additionally supporting the team with any other business requirements and tasks.
