JD Gyms is seeking a dedicated cleaning and facilities assistant to uphold our high standards of cleanliness across the club in Newcastle-under-Lyme. You will work to create a welcoming and safe environment for members and colleagues, delivering friendly, professional service throughout the facility.

The role focuses on daily cleaning and safety checks, adhering to health and safety policies, and supporting brand standards while contributing to a positive member experience.

• Ensure that all policies and procedures in both the Health and Safety Employee Policy and Company Procedures Handbook are adhered to.
• Support and maintain JD Gyms brand standards across all areas of the club.
• Conduct daily, weekly, monthly cleaning and safety checks.
• Report all defects to ensure the building and its equipment is safe to use.
• Ensure the gym facility is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.
• Maintain professional appearance and uniform standards in line with company expectations.
• Deliver outstanding member service through positive and professional interactions.
• Support learning and development initiatives, including training activities designed to promote consistent standards across the business.
• To undertake any other reasonable duties.
