Job summary

JD Gyms is seeking a diligent cleaner to join our expanding gym team in East Kilbride, Scotland. You will uphold cleanliness, safety standards and provide excellent member service while adhering to brand guidelines.

The role involves daily cleaning duties, safety checks, and contributing to a positive member experience within a busy, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Hardworking with strong interpersonal skills and great attention to detail.
• Demonstrates a passion for exceeding expectations.
• Previous experience in a similar role; able to multi-task and work unsupervised.
• Effective communication and approachable to members and staff.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Health and Safety Employee Policy and Company Procedures Handbook.
• Maintain JD Gyms Brand Standard.
• Conduct daily, weekly, monthly cleaning and safety checks.
• Report defects to ensure the building and equipment are safe.
• Ensure the gym is in the highest standard of cleanliness.
• Maintain uniform standards.
• Deliver outstanding member service.
• Participate in colleague training videos to uphold standards across the group.
• Undertake other reasonable duties.

We’re looking for someone who shares our passion for cleanliness and can play an integral part in our gym team. We need someone with meticulous cleaning standards that can balance interacting with our members whilst getting the job done.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all policies and procedures in both the Health and Safety Employee Policy and Company Procedures Handbook are adhered to.
• Responsible for adhering to and maintaining the JD Gyms Brand Standard.
• Conduct daily, weekly, monthly cleaning and safety checks.
• Report all defects to ensure the building and its equipment is safe to use.
• To ensure the whole of the gym facility is of the highest standard of cleanliness.
• To ensure uniform standards are being adhered to by yourself.
• To always deliver outstanding member service.
• To participate in colleague training videos to assist in the delivery of exceptional standards across the group.
• To undertake any other reasonable duties.
