Job summary

JD Gyms in Widnes is seeking a dedicated cleaner to uphold cleanliness and safety across the club. You will support brand standards, perform daily cleaning and safety checks, and assist members with friendly, professional service.

Report defects to keep facilities safe, maintain good appearance and uniforms, and support training activities that promote consistent standards across the business. This role requires attention to detail, reliable teamwork, and a positive attitude to help members

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills with attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
• Commitment to delivering excellent member service and maintaining cleanliness.
• Experience in a customer-facing or leisure environment is advantageous.

• Report all defects to ensure the building and its equipment is safe to use.
• Ensure the gym facility is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.
• Maintain professional appearance and uniform standards in line with company expectations.
• Deliver outstanding member service through positive and professional interactions.
• Support learning and development initiatives, including training activities designed to promote consistent standards across the business.
• To undertake any other reasonable duties.
