Main Duties And Responsibilities
- Pay Rate: £12.21 - Weekly Pay.
- Shifts: 08:00 - 17:00.
- Follow all operating procedures to the best of your abilities.
- Keep the work area safe and clean.
- Maintain high standards of quality, hygiene, health, and safety according to customer and company specifications.
- Ensure cleanliness and housekeeping standards are within company guidelines.
- Report all accidents and take preventative actions.
- Communicate effectively both verbally and non-verbally at all levels.
- Make relevant entries in the diary log and check it at the start of each shift.
- Be flexible within the role and department.
- Conduct quality checks and implement improvements when needed.
- Assist with follow-up on Quality Assurance and Health & Safety reports.
- Perform any other duties as required.
Specific Duties by Department
Production
- Pack food liners according to specifications.
- Prepare samples and products based on specifications.
- Conduct temperature, quality, and date checks.
- Seal flight canisters, trolleys, and record numbers.
- Ensure correct marshalling of flights to dispatch bays in assigned order.
Bond
- Handle and store incoming goods properly and manage stock.
- Sort and assemble bars into flights, working as a team to meet targets.
- Check trolley seals and cross-check with customs paperwork.
Dishwash
- Wash, sort, assemble, pack, and position aircraft equipment.
- Process and strip trolleys, delivering them to relevant departments.
- Unload and sort equipment/food, ensuring delivery to the correct area.
Stores
- Load/offload lorries, stock shelves, and replenish items.
- Palletize shipments accurately according to specifications.
- Perform quality and date checks.
- Conduct daily stock counts.
- Manage stock rotation.
- Keep the area clean.
