The lubricant additives business unit's product portfolio includes synthetic base oils, lubricant additives, additive packages, and formulated lubricants. These are used across various industries such as automotive, mechanical engineering, metal processing, shipbuilding, and aviation. The lubricants serve engines, gearboxes, and industrial applications in power generation, refrigeration, mining, construction, primary metals, and food processing industries. Lanxess is developing specialized solutions for these applications.

Your Impact

• Safety & Compliance – Ensure top-tier HSE performance, maintaining compliance with IPPC, COSHH, and COMAH regulations.
• Production Excellence – Implement and oversee production plans, ensuring Right First-Time delivery and operational efficiency.
• Continuous Improvement – Use data insights to enhance OEE and plant performance.
• Leadership & Team Development – Lead and develop a high-performing team.
• Manage and drive the Site Training & Competency projects.
• Oversee plant improvements, new plant handovers, and safe commissioning.
• Manage costs, efficiency, and production planning to optimize resources.

Requirements

• Strong background in chemical manufacturing within a COMAH facility.
• In-depth knowledge of EHSS laws, regulations, and permits.
• Proven leadership in operations, team management, and change management.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and strategic thinking.
• Knowledge of Integrated Management Systems and auditing.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
